Some places in Colombia are so remote and difficult to access that their names reflect this characteristic.
For example, El Carajo in Valle del Cauca (which means "very far away"), Puerto Escondido in Cordoba (meaning "hidden harbor"), and La Porra in Antioquia (which means "in the middle of nowhere"). It is precisely these places where DIRECTV Pre-paid can provide the best service and coverage. (We used Colombian popular culture and slang to create this campaign).
The key visual was inspired by Colombian landscapes. We aimed to transport viewers to distant, natural destinations and emphasize the "far away" concept. In addition, we incorporated rustic elements, such as wooden signs and warm tones, to enhance the overall look and feel.
We visited these locations to gather visual material for the campaign. Using real locations and people from these towns made the campaign more authentic and relatable for people in remote areas of Colombia.

By involving local residents from these towns in our campaign, we were able to create three impactful TV commercials filmed in different locations. Here is one of them:

For the layout we got inspiration from Colombian landscapes, we wanted to show places surrounded by nature and reinforce the “far away” concept. Also, we used rustic elements such as wood signs and warm tones in the photography to enhance the look and feel of the campaign.
We actually travelled to these places and took amazing pictures in order to have enough material for OOH and social media content.
